We welcome back expert forager, Mark Williams, Scotland's voice on all things wild. His knowledge of our edible landscape is remarkable, and is one of the best foragers our country has to offer.
We will be designing both the food and drinks to reflect the various ingredients we can pick up right on our very own doorstep. A real treat to learn more about Scotland's natural larder.
Details for the day: For those coming on the forage arrive at Cail Bruich for 11am. We will be walking up to 2 miles. Not to worry you though, it will be a gentle walk on well made paths over 2 to 3 hours hours followed by our 5 course wild food tasting menu. Guests coming for the wild tasting menu only should arrive for 2.30pm for a 3pm start.
What to bring: Stout footwear, waterproofs, water. Your learning of foraging and enjoyment may also benefit from bringing camera, notebook, field guide (plants), as well as a small basket or cloth bag.
